What is the warranty on the fence?

Jan Fence warranties all workmanship for 2 years after the installation date. Different styles of fence have different warranties from the manufacturer. The estimator can inform you of those warranties at the time of purchase.

What do I do if my property has some hills or the grade is not level?

Fences can be stepped or racked depending on the style you have chosen.

What happens if it rains on the date my fence is scheduled to be installed?

Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather. If it rains on a scheduled install date, all installations on the schedule will move to the next day the weather permits.

Do I need a permit for my fence?

A permit is needed for your fence installation. Obtaining the permit is the responsibility of the homeowner. Since every town is different with the requirements for fences, we ask that you contact your local building department and discuss the plans of your project with them.

Do I need to remove small trees or brush that might be in the way of the fence installation?

Although our installation crews are very helpful and capable of doing this, we ask that you remove any brush, trees, debris etc. from the installation area.

What are all of the colored flags that have been put on my property?

Before we begin to do any digging on your property, we have the utility companies mark out your property to help eliminate the possibility of digging into a pipe or electrical line.
